František Mikloško (born 2 June 1947, Nitra) is a Slovak politician. He is a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, a former member of Christian Democratic Movement. Miklosko was Speaker of the Slovak National Council 1990 -1992. He was also one of the candidates in the 2004 presidential election. On March 12, 2008 František Mikloško with Vladimír Palko, Pavol Minárik and Rudolf Bauer established new party called Conservative Democrats of Slovakia. Mikloško is the longest serving member of parliament in Slovakia. Also will be one of the candidates in 2009 presidential election.
