Friedrich Carl Adolf Neelsen (* 29 March 1854 Uetersen; † April 11, 1898 Dresden ) was a German pathologist.

Life

Friedrich C.A. Neelsen came as a son of Hans Friedrich Neelsen deacon and his wife Bertha Sophia, born Lueders, in the vicarage in Uetersen to the world. He later visited the Rectorschool in Uetersen and went on a school in Altona. He studied medicine at the University of Leipzig, where he met his doctorate 22 years. Later he became professor of the Institute of Pathology University of Rostock.
