Wadi al-Joz (Arabic: وادي الجوز‎), also Wadi Joz, (Valley of the Walnuts), is an Arab neighborhood in Jerusalem, located at the head of the Kidron Valley, north of the Old City.

Wadi al-Joz has a population of 7,400. In 2007, a neighborhood association was formed to push for improvements in local services and infrastructure. 1

A large number of Hebronites live in Wadi al-Joz, including many members of the Sinnokrot (Sinokrot), Niroukh, and 'Abdeen families. Other residents include Circassian, Lebanese, and Jerusalemite Palestinians.citation needed The neighborhood's main mosque is the 'Abdeen Mosque built by and named after the Abd al-Muhsin 'Abdeen family in 1939.2
